Team Phoenix will be competing in this year's BEST Robotics Competition, starting at the Heartland BEST hub at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, in Alva, Oklahoma.

Team Phoenix is proud to have been accepted by the folks at Heartland BEST.  The BEST competition is unique amongst all the various organizations that hold competitions for middle and high school students, in that the BEST hubs provide all the materials needed for teams to build a robot for the competition.  With only a very few minor exceptions, only items in the kit provided by the BEST hubs may be used to construct the robot.  This makes it possible for teams with little to no funding to compete, and it also levels the playing field, giving those teams with limited resources a better chance in competing against larger, more established teams.

It's safe to say that, without BEST Robotics, there would not have been a Team Phoenix.  If there's anyone reading this that would be interested in starting a robotics club at their school, or an independent club like Team Phoenix, check out the BEST Robotics website; there is still time to sign up for this fall's competition.  If you have any questions, please contact us; we'd love to help you get started. Your future is yours to build!
